Choke Collars
When measuring for choke collars, our measurements include only the leather portion of the collar - excluding rings.
If you have a metal choke collar available that already fits your dog, measure that collar excluding the rings. Another method would be to measure the widest part of the dog's head and add 1".

Buckle Collars
Our buckle collars are measured between the buckle and the center hole. Measure your dog's neck, allowing for a comfortable amount of leeway (usually an additional inch or two). The collar will be made according to this measurement.
